Here’s a first look at the Samsung Galaxy S9+ running Android Pie

as declared in Android Pie came out in early August and just over two months later and we're already seeing some of the new features to come for the Samsung Experience UI on the Galaxy S9+. XDA-Developers got its hands on an early build of Android Pie for a Snapdragon variant of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ with a host of notable changes to the Android skin. The early build is from Firmware.Science and is in a developmental stage so there are bugs and broken features in its current state. Finally, recent apps have a new horizontal scrolling like in the alternative Samsung UI called Good Lock. So Android 9.0 Pie for the Galaxy S9 just leaked, giving us our first look at what the next version of Android will look like on Samsung's flagships. Samsung is testing Android 9.0 Pie for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in every country at the moment. However, that can't be said for certain, so we will have to wait and see what the company plans to do with the Pie update. We certainly hope the beta program won't be as long as it has been in the past for older versions of Android, as that would mean Android 9.0 Pie won't arrive until next year.

But now XDA Developers has posted photos of Samsung's Experience software running on top of Android 9 Pie, providing a tantalising look at what future software could look like on the Galaxy S9 and S9+. XDA Developers posted a number of images showcasing Android 9 Pie running on Samsung hardware. And Sam Mobile has since confirmed Samsung is currently "testing Android 9 Pie for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in every country at the moment".
