Those are the questions I've been asking as I've been testing the new Samsung Notebook nine Pen for the past couple of weeks. The $1,399 Notebook nine Pen is a 13-inch convertible 2-in-1 laptop that's 1 of the lightest computers I've ever tested. Compared to other 2-in-1 computers, the Notebook nine Pen has a lot going for it, on paper at least. First impressions of a new gadget are important, and, unfortunately for Samsung, the Notebook nine Pen doesn't provide a extremely nice one. The upside of this is which the Notebook nine Pen is ridiculously light, at just 2.2 lbs.

as declared in Samsung's choice worked: The N9 Pen handled a few cautious drops surprisingly well. I'm less fine with how the Notebook nine Pen looks. And the port choice is even worse. This limited choice means the Notebook nine Pen is not ideal for my usual workload. More than once, I've grabbed the N9 Pen off my desk only to accidentally put it to sleep because my finger grazed the power button.
