Apple and Samsung head for yet another patent damages trial

The 2 tech giants going to head back to territory court of law for yet another experience looking into design patent infringement. The decision follows a Supreme court of law ruling a year ago which told damages can be set differently than they typically had been in the past. Apple had asked for the claims court of law to uphold the earlier damages ruling because Samsung never showed an "article of manufacture" to be anything other than an entire phone. Samsung, meanwhile, wanted the status sent back to territory court of law for a new damages trial.
