Here's an official, leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9

as declared in Now, however, an official image of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been leaked by none other than Samsung. The image was posted -- presumably in error -- on Samsung's website, as noticed by leaker Evan Blass, and was quickly removed. Mashable managed to obtain the image from a cached version of the site; check it out in its entirety below. Meanwhile, Samsung also posted another teaser for the Note 9, which goes through the history of the Note brand. We're starting to think this isn't an accident: On Friday, Samsung leaked the official Galaxy Note 9 video, grabbed first by SamMobile.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Leaked videos, price, specs and every rumour so far

Ahead of the official launch of Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, the tech giant "accidentally" leaked some of the key features of its new smartphone. The Note 9's new features might allow Samsung to recover lost ground after posting sluggish financial results last month following a cooling in demand for the Samsung S9. Samsung's leaked images and video shows that the new Galaxy Note 9 will look similar to previous models. This is a 20 pc step up from the Galaxy Note 8's 3,300mAh. Users will have to wait for a full review to see just how good the Samsung Galaxy S9 camera is, but the Galaxy Note 8 had one of the best smartphone cameras available, according to The Telegraph's review.

Samsung is probably keeping the headphone jack around for the Galaxy Note 9 – TechCrunch

as informed in Let's be real — the latest batch of Samsung ads are more about the company's perception of Apple than its own devices. In a spot titled "Dongle" that takes aim at the easiest possible joke in the smartphone world, Samsung takes Apple to task for the iPhone for its lack of headphone jack. Again, the ad's less about what Samsung has, than what Apple doesn't, but it does appear to reaffirm the company's commitment to the headphone jack. The most notable instance is probably Google, who called Apple out one year and dropped the jack the next. But releasing such an openly mocking ad a month or so before dropping the headphone jack would not, as the kids say, be a great look for the company.

Samsung Ads Tease Major Galaxy Note 9 Features

Samsung is ready to cancel the Note range and the Galaxy Note 9's eye-watering price is likely to be a big reason why. This is the largest battery Samsung has ever put into a mass market smartphone. The Galaxy Note 9 changes this and it will come with an industry-leading 512GB with its microSD card able to add a further 1TB. Granted the Galaxy Note 9 doesn't cost $2,000 like Samsung's real passion project, but it's a big ask in a year when Apple will cut iPhone prices. Still, if the Galaxy Note series is to end, then at least the Galaxy Note 9 will do it by staying true to what made the series such a hit in the first place: making everything absolutely massive…___Follow Gordon on Twitter, Facebook and Google+More On ForbesSamsung's Galaxy Note 9 Is Very ExpensiveSamsung's Galaxy S10 Is A Truly Massive SmartphoneMassive Galaxy Note 9 Leak Details All-New FeaturesSamsung Filing Makes Galaxy Note 9 OfficialSamsung's Radical Galaxy Smartphone Costs $2,000
