The bad news is the ad confirms the Galaxy Note 9 has a disappointingly iterative design which is almost identical to the Galaxy Note 8, except for the fact we know it will actually be heavier and thicker. You can also see the new central alignment of the rear fingerprint sensor, which confirms the cancellation of an in-display reader (now saved for the all-new Galaxy S10). Especially given the warning signs Samsung got from the Galaxy S9, which is struggling after a similarly incremental upgrade from the Galaxy S8.
