"We have an M Tech course with IIIT-Bangalore where professors from the institute come to the Samsung R&D campus in Bangalore to teach over the weekend to students who are chose out of a rigorous entry process," he added.

The 3 R&D centres in India work on several cutting edge technologies," Samsung universal senior vice-president and MD Samsung R&D Institute India Bengaluru Dipesh Shah said. "We going to be hiring around 1,000 engineers from highest engineering colleges this year across the 3 R&D centres in India, of that over 300 going to be from IITs. The Indian R&D centres contribute to universal products as well as develop India specific innovations for the native market here.
