"Venturebeat" declare : Samsung Galaxy Note8 launches late September for nearly €1,000

Samsung is making preparations to launch its most expensive cellphone yet, telling partners that its Galaxy Note8 will retail for €999. The lenses are said to be configured horizontally, situated to the left of the flash and heart rate sensor. At nearly the same size as the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+, for the first time in its seven-year history, Samsung is counting on more than an expansive screen to differentiate the Note line from the S-series. The €999 retail price should translate to a little over $900, given that the €799 Galaxy S8 and €899 S8+ initially sold unlocked for about $725 and $825, respectively. DeX capability is also included, as the Note8 is said to be compatible with the same dock that, when connected to a monitor, brings a desktop experience to the Galaxy S8 models.

As it stated in According to PhoneArena there's a Motorola event on June 30, so we'll possibly see the Moto Z2 made official then. The follow-up to the world's thinnest smartphone, the Moto Z, is on its way – and we now have a better idea of what its specs are going to be. The screen looks to be the same as the Moto Z at 5.5 inches, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, making it a QHD competitor for the Samsung Galaxy S8, which comes in at 5.8 inches and 2960 x 1440 pixels. Thanks to reputable tech leaker Evan Blass we've known the Moto Z2 has been coming since April, but now the phone has appeared on benchmarking site GFXBench, and it's looking a lot like a flagship device. Contrary to leaked designs we've seen previously, the stats are only showing a single rear-facing 12MP camera with the ability to shoot 4K video, while the front-facing camera looks set to be 5MP.

This may be why the Samsung Galaxy S8's Bixby Voice assistant is delayed

Bixby Voice should be available on both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in the future, while we also expect to see the tech on the Galaxy Note 8 later in the year. The delay is reportedly related to a lack of data for the voice assistant as well as foreign language experts to translate the service from Korean. Bixby Voice is currently only available in South Korea. It seems Samsung wants to ensure the tech is working perfectly before launching it officially but considering the company has teased Bixby Voice in the UK a release may not be too far away. Samsung's own artificial intelligence assistant is yet to officially launch in the US or UK despite the company claiming it would launch by the end of Spring 2017.
