- The leaks and rumors were apparently true as Samsung quietly listed the Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone on their Chinese website.Pre-orders will start by January 16 but the pricing for the mid-tier device hasn't been revealed yet although it's expected to be in the $400 range.There is also no news yet if it will show up in other markets, but basing on the specs, it could be something other countries may want, despite the fact that Samsung is still trying to slowly rebuild their reputation after the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.The Galaxy C7 Pro has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution and is powered by a Snapdragon 626 chipset with an octave-core 2.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU.

- Samsung released two videos this week showing off its new AMOLED displays, and a lot of folks seem to think the phone featured in the clips could be the upcoming Galaxy S8.The mysterious device facebook/" target="_blank">shares characteristics seen in some of the endless rumors released during the past few months, including a practically bezel-free design, a fingerprint sensor built in to the display, and the absence of a home button.Check out the second video below:The most we can say about the design, if these leaks hold true, is that it definitely looks like a Samsung smartphone.The lack of bezel around the display is the standout feature here, but even that infinite pool look isn't the first of its kind.

- The Galaxy J3 Emerge is not a complete surprise, as the first details about the smartphone date from last month when we reported Samsung is expected to release it in the United States.Today, the handset maker listed the Galaxy J3 Emerge on its official U.S. website.Three versions of the device are available for purchase, all three with the same specs configuration: Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.Customers can choose either of the three variants, but the price will remain the same: $234.99.However, it's worth noting the Best Buy is offering the Galaxy J3 Emerge as well, but you can get the Sprint model for free on $7 monthly fees for 24 months.The US retailer confirms the smartphone will arrive in stock on January 23, but Samsung doesn't mention a release date.Keep in mind that you can only pre-order the Sprint model from Samsung's online store, the other two carrier-bounded models are available through Best Buy for now.
