- This one is the first smartphones from Coolpad with flagship-level specifications.It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4 or 6GB RAM, 64 or 128GB storage and a large 4,070mAh battery.The phone has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in a 7.5mm metal unibody design.Other features include a 16MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, 8MP front camera with screen flash support, fingerprint scanner and Android 6.0.Coolpad has partnered with Harman Kardon for the stereo speakers on the phone it uses Harman's Clarri-fi audio technology.

- Samsung is refreshing its 13- and 15-inch Notebook 9 laptops with Intel's 7th generation Kaby Lake processors this week, just ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show in January.The minor refresh introduces Intel's latest processors alongside some tweaks to the overall design of the Notebook 9.Samsung has opted for a more curved chassis for its thin and light laptop, with slim bezels for the near edge-to-edge display.
